Golden Lounge Hotel - Istanbul

I stayed in a cozy standard twin room for two nights. The cleanliness was great, and I loved the quiet street view. Had a fantastic experience when the concierge helped send out my postcards for a small fee.

Felt cozy, no reason to complain.

Breakfast had fresh honeycomb, very satisfying start.

I greatly enjoyed staying in this property and its incredibly comfortable and easy location.

The hotel was exceptional and clean, with attentive staff at night shift. Fresh bread, cereals, and fruit were better than expected. Actually everything was very good, my next choice again in Istanbul.

This place is super comfy and clean, loved the room decor and the staff were really helpful. The location is quiet but close enough to metro for sightseeing. Breakfast was amazin with lots of options, even had fresh honey! Shoutout to ilkay for helpin us out with the taxi situation.

The hotel is conveniently located just ten minutes from the airport. The cleanliness of the room was notable, though it was excessively warm . The breakfast offered typical Turkish items, but the options were somewhat limited. A nearby café and supermarket added to the convenience, although the room lacked effective air conditioning.

The breakfast variety impressed me, with plenty of options to kickstart the day right. And a kettle and coffee maker in the room added a nice touch for those early mornings.

Now, onto the not-so-great bits. You get only one key for the room. Came back to a sauna after dinner. Wi-Fi was spotty and barely worked in the room, a pain. I spotted a large break in the window that was fixed with tape-definitely not a safety feature I want to see if I have kids with me. Plenty of maintenance issues could use some attention. A bit of clarity on local amenities would help in navigating the area better too. Not the worst place, but it has its quirks.

I enjoyed the cleanliness of our spacious room and the convenience of nearby shops and cafés. The staff, particularly one who spoke good English, were eager to assist. I recommend requesting extra keys upfront to manage air conditioning effectively during hot evenings.

It was just a top selection for a weekend break in Istanbul with a great value-to-price ratio. The complimentary tea and coffee in the room were a nice touch, made my mornings enjoyable. Make sure to request extra keys for better managing the air conditioning during your stay.
